Users’ reputation is shown in Brownbook.net with a series of icons beside their name.

The icons variously show:

• how many people have registered with Brownbook.net as a result of invitations from the user (the buddy icon)
• how many contributions the user has made (the gold stars)
• how many reviews have been marked as ‘helpful’ by other users (the blue stars)
